The Rothay Garth 
Ambleside Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful traditional Victorian Lakeland slate building set in its own landscaped grounds. Whilst retaining its character and many original features, the Rothay Garth offers en suite facilities, a comfortable spacious resident’s lounge and drinks service, conservatory, elegant breakfast room and a large private car park. Better still, we are located only a few minutes walk from Lake Windermere at waterhead and only a short stroll to the restaurants, bars, shops and facilities of Ambleside making us convenient as well as elegant.
