Breakfast for Non-Residents
At Rothay Garth, we are delighted to welcome non-residents and members of the public to enjoy breakfast with us. For just £15 per person, you can enjoy our full continental buffet along with a selection of freshly cooked breakfast options.
This offering is subject to availability and can be pre-booked by emailing us in advance. We are also happy to welcome walk-in guests whenever possible, although availability cannot be guaranteed.
Perfectly positioned in the heart of Ambleside, Rothay Garth is the ideal place to fuel up before a day of hiking, sightseeing, or exploring the beautiful Lake District and beyond.

Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM in our dining room, which is conveniently located directly opposite the property’s main entrance.
All guests staying at Rothay Garth can enjoy a full cooked breakfast as well as our continental buffet, both of which are included in their stay.
At Rothay Garth, we offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan breakfast options. Guests can enjoy favourites such as our Full Vegetarian Breakfast and Eggs Florentine, as well as vegan options including avocado on toast, vegan sausages, and porridge. We aim to provide something to suit every taste.
