Check-in time is any time after 15:00 hrs until 18:00 pm, please contact us directly in advance if you are unable to check between these hours. Check-in prior to this time can be requested but is not guaranteed. Early check in requests will be prioritised by our front desk team. If you are planning to arrive earlier please let us know at the time you make your booking so we can aim to prepare your room in advance.

At Rothay Garth we have some rooms which are suitable for dogs. Please Note:  You cannot bring a dog unless the room type you have booked is a dog friendly room, this must be booked with us directly. A flat fee of £25 is added to any dog friendly room booked.  Should you arrive with a dog without a dog friendly room booked a £50 fee will be applied to your bill. Please contact us if you have any further questions or queries.

Please notify us at the point of booking if you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, we should be made aware of. Our team will be able to provide a suitable alternative to accommodate for most allergens if made aware in advance of your stay.

We provide plenty of vegetarian breakfast options on our menu, in addition we provide gluten-free bread, cereals, yogurts and sausages. Please just let a team member know if you have any allergies or intolerances prior to arrival where possible. We also provide some vegan options, please just ask a team member.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our period property we do not have accessible rooms or wheelchair access at Rothay Garth. Whilst we do not have wheelchair accessible rooms, we do have rooms located on the ground floor, please note there are two steps at the entrance of Rothay Garth. Please just contact us directly if you have any questions regarding this.

We want Rothay Garth to be your home away from home and  welcome families and children. Facilities vary depending on room type so if you have any questions please contact us at the point of booking.

At Rothay Garth we are very lucky to have a large private car park with enough space for up to 18 vehicles!

Smoking is not permitted at Rothay Garth, please note that a smoking charge of £200 will be applied for any guests who break our strict non-smoking policy.

At Rothay Garth we do not have a lift, should you require a room on the lower levels of the property please let us know at the point of booking.
